In Mike Moran’s “A Goatsinger Approaches”, a charismatic performer tells his tales. Through a mix of songs, performance, puppetry, storytelling, and spoken-word, Moran offers up his odd, grim, and playful tales: tales of being captured by a dragon; of jumping a train; of fleeing with a foul-mouthed goat in a boxcar to an Appalachian valley town; of following the dance of a dragonfly through the streets of a new poem.
"A Goatsinger Approaches" offers a theatrical showcase that weaves together elements of storytelling, music, and puppetry.
