It's bike month people!!! What's the best recipe for getting more folks on bikes?Start with some friends, sprinkle in a few breweries, add a dash of John Park (aka @hungryasianrke), and voila--a Brewery by Bike Tour!Join us for a free group ride that will travel to three breweries in Roanoke. At the start, we'll go over a few basics of riding with traffic, and we will spend about 45 minutes at each brewery before moving on.Schedule for Thursday, May 30:
5:00 p.m.--Meet at Starr Hill Brewery at Side Stage
5:45(ish)--Group Ride to Olde Salem Brewery (Downtown Roanoke)
6:00 p.m.--Enjoy Olde Salem
6:45(ish)--Group Ride to Golden Cactus Brewery & Food Hut
7:00 p.m.--Enjoy Golden CactusTalent ambassador (and local foodie celeb) John Park, also known as @thehungryasianrke will be on hand for chats, Roanoke recs, and general fun.Need a bike? You can rent one from Cardinal Bicycle or Roanoke Mountain Adventures! We suggest calling ahead to reserve it.We want to flood the streets with cyclists for Bike Month, so grab a pal (or make a new one at the event!) and join us for one heck of a fun night! The ride is free, but any food or beverages are on your own.
