Roanoke author Lon Wagner visits Book No Further Saturday, Sept. 21, at 1 pm to discuss his new book "The Fever: The Most Fatal Plague in American History," the never-before-told story of the most deadly epidemic in American history.
A former journalist, Wagner's work was twice nominated for the Pulitzer Prize, including the 14-part series about the yellow fever epidemic. He earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Delaware and a master's from the University of Edinburgh in Scotland.
