It's a double shot of Appalachian Southern Rock as The Jared Stout Band returns to The Sanctuary bringing WV's Matt Mullins & The Bringdowns along for the ride.

Introducing The Jared Stout Band, an electrifying alt-country sensation hailing from the heart of Southwestern Virginia. With a musical style that's as diverse as the Appalachian landscape they call home, this band is redefining the boundaries of country and rock.

Runner-ups for the coveted "On-The-Rise" award at FloydFest 22, The Jared Stout Band has quickly solidified their presence in the music scene. Their dynamic sound seamlessly weaves Appalachian rhythms with bluesy undertones, creating a tapestry of emotion and energy that resonates with audiences far and wide. Fronted by the soulful and relatable songwriting of Jared Stout himself, their performances are a journey through life's ups and downs, sung with an authenticity that draws listeners in. Backed by a group of remarkably talented and emotionally-charged musicians, every note they play carries an unparalleled intensity that leaves a lasting impression.

From the moment they step onto the stage, The Jared Stout Band commands attention. Their music lingers in the air, a fusion of heart and soul that captivates audiences and holds them spellbound. With each show, they prove that music is more than just notes; it's a shared experience that leaves an indelible mark on the heart. If you're ready to embark on a musical journey that breaks boundaries and tugs at the heartstrings, look no further than The Jared Stout Band. Their passion, talent, and dedication to their craft make them a force to be reckoned with, and an experience you won't want to miss!

Through the years, Matt Mullins & The Bringdowns members have toured in various other bands including, Atomic Jo, What’s Left, Poor Taters, The Boatmen, From The Future, Old School Abbey, and A Noted Author. But in late 2015 when these four friends got together to track what was to be Matt Mullins’ solo record, they quickly took notice that this was something different that they wanted to continue doing together. Matt’s solo album became a group project and since then the band has been writing new material and booking supporting of their debut album Family.Music.Beer., which was released in August 2016. With an eclectic mix of genres that have influenced the group, it’s hard to classify them as just an alt-country band.
