Meet Botetourt County author Brook Allen at Book No Further, Saturday March 30 at 11 am - 2 pm. Allen just released her fourth historical fiction novel, West of Santillane which tells the true story of Julia Hancock of Botetourt County who married explorer William Clark.
Allen is also the author of a the Antonius Triology, which tells the story of Antonius, a Roman politician and general who played a critical role in the growth of Rome from a republic to an empire in the first century BCE.
