Details
National Vietnam War Veterans Day Commemoration is presented by Vietnam Veterans of America Roanoke Valley Chapter 81 and includes: Army band, brief comments/perspectives of three members of VVA 81 all in-country veterans, presentation of a lapel pin authorized by US Govt in recognition of military service during the Vietnam era (including those serving other than in VN), Congressman as a guest speaker, honoring the deceased with wreath-laying and Taps.
It has only been three years that a day has been established for Vietnam-era veterans, National Vietnam War Veterans Day, which is Tuesday, March 29 this year.
Open to the public.
