Join Book No Further Saturday, Sept. 24 for a celebration of books banned here and around the world. We'll honor the importance of free speech, the power of literature and the knowledge that a banned books is a stolen book.
- Special display highlighting some for the [silly, idiotic, bigoted, fascist, take your pick] reasons claimed for banning books around the country and here at home, including a 1936 German edition of Mein Kampf (not for sale)
- Selected readings from challenged or banned books; every hour 11 am - 4 pm (Volunteer as a reader and get a free banned books lapel pin.)
- Free "I Read Banned Books" lapel pin with any purchase over $20. (Also available for sale here.)
