Join us at The Market Gallery for our Featured Artist painters Nan Mahone Wellborn, Rachel Uchizono, and Natalie Strum. Plein aire painter Mahone Wellborn presents rich, tranquil oil landscapes to which water and reflected light add beauty and drama. In a more Impressionist vein, Uchizono’s oil still lifes and vistas shimmer with broken light, while our newest member-artist Natalie Strum paints “creatures, food, and landscapes” in acrylic on canvas with colorful exuberance disciplined by her keen eye for the telling detail.

The show hangs from March 31-April 25. Exhibiting contemporary Southwest Virginia artists, The Market Gallery is located on Roanoke’s historic downtown market, at 23 Salem Avenue, Roanoke, VA 24011.
