About Nefateria Hash

Nefateria L. Hash, the youngest of 6 children, was born to Minister John and Mother Rosalyn Hash on August 25, 1979. She is presently serving in the capacity of Praise and Worship Leader and Family Development Specialist at her home church, the Temple of The Way Out under the leadership of Pastor Nurumbi D. and Lady LaTonya Hash. Nefateria developed her love for singing at the early age of 5 when her grandfather the late Bishop George M. Hash use to call her before the congregation to minister in song before he began to deliver the Word of God. It was very evident then, as it is now, when she ministers in song that the anointing of God is present, ruling and reigning in her life lifting heavy burdens, destroying yokes, and breaking bondage chains. The Word is in her heart and it becomes life as she honors God and surrenders her gift back to Him allowing Him to have his way as she opens her mouth in praise and worship. As Nefateria began to grow her passion for ministering in song, she became a household name becoming “in demand”, sharing her gift locally, nationally, and abroad. She has opened up in concert for various world-renowned gospel artist including Marvin Sapp, Donnie McClurkin, and Mary-Mary. She was selected to have the opportunity to use her anointed gift of ministering at The 2017 Women’s Empowerment Conference in Raleigh, NC with gospel artist CiCi Winans, Hezekiah Walker, Jermaine Dolly, Lecrae, K-Michele, Bobby Brown, 112, and Taraji P. Henson as the motivational speaker for the event. She is the voice that you hear in the TV talk-show jingle for “The Hour of Joy” and she has also appeared on the show singing one of her own songs “His name”. Nefateria’s gift just doesn’t stop at singing but she has had the opportunity to be featured in a stage play “God’s Eye” written by Producer April Johnson and it was later put into a movie. She has won numerous talent competitions and received many awards to include “Roanoke’s Got Talent”. Nefateria reaches every age group, diversified and versatile in style, she just opens up and let the Holy Spirit have his way - ushering in the presence of the Lord. Nefateria is the loving mother of her 15 year old daughter, Baraka Nelson. With humbleness, gratitude, and guidance from God she is glad to say that she released her 1st EP Project “It’s My Season” the Fall of “2017”. The project is International and has reached all across the world playing on the Christian radio stations in Japan as well as throughout the United States of America. “It's My Season” is available digitally on itunes, google play, target.com, bestbuy.com, walmart.com, Pandora, spotify, and your choice of purchasing digital music.
