Lee Hunsaker curates Roanoke’s only live storytelling event— Hoot and Holler: Our Stories. Out Loud. She will partner with Crafteria artist and teacher Hillary Hardison to take you you on a creative journey that combines writing and visual arts.

First, through carefully crafted writing prompts, you’ll explore memories, personal goals, passions, and visions for your own life and the world.

With those emotions and experiences in mind, you’ll then create a dream box—a three dimensional collage made with symbols, photos, meaningful objects, and your own awesome writing. Your dream box can focus on anything really, from a period of your life to a loved one you’d like to honor in a special way.

No writing or art experience is necessary. This event is BYOW, so just bring your favorite wine, your creative ideas, and some meaningful personal items like photos and small mementos to incorporate into your box. Everything else is provided.
