If you've experienced Halloween Downtown before, you know it's one of the busiest weekends of the year. To make your planning easier, we've put together a list of activities so you can fully enjoy the spooky festivities. There's even a special section for the little ghouls and goblins. So, get those costumes ready!

For the Adults

Friday, October 25, 2024

  • K92 Boo Bash at Awful Arthur's - 8:00 p.m. - midnight - The annual Boo Bash returns with a costume contest ($1,200 cash up for grabs!), drink specials, dancing, and more.

Saturday, October 26, 2024

  • Halloween Party at Sidewinders - 6:00 p.m. - Chance Carter will be on the first floor and The Dundees are performing upstairs.  Cash prizes for Best Costumes. Limited Tickets available.
  • Fork-O-Ween at Fork in the Market - 6:00 p.m. - 1:00 a.m. - Fork in the Market's annual Halloween Block Party returns. This street party features live music, a costume content, and Silent Disco.
  • Halloween Street Party at Martin’s - 6:00 p.m. – 1:00 a.m. - This Halloween Street Party featuring 3 bands on two stages – Sneezy, Disco Risque, and The Snozzberries. Admission is $20.
  • Metalcore Massacre at The Spot on Kirk - 7:30 p.m. - Come see some of Virginia’s best Metalcore and celebrate Halloween! Dying Oath, Seasons, Freedom From The Shadows, and To Be a King are all slated to perform.

Sunday, October 30, 2022

  • Spooktacular Drag Brunch at Well Hung - 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. - Hosted by Big Daddy, Former Mr Gay Roanoke and performances by, Dezi Bennett, Bianca Blake Starr, Enya Salad, Charlene S DeFranco, Trista Storm. $13 admission, food and drink separate. Seatings at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Showtimes at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.

  • Trunk or Treat at Kirk Family YMCA – 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. - Bring the kids to Kirk Family YMCA for some fun trick or treating. This event is open to everyone, not just members. Costumes encouraged.

Saturday, October 26, 2024

  • Macaroni Kid’s Candy Crawl in Downtown Roanoke - 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. - Put on your costumes and head downtown for the 5th Annual Downtown Candy Crawl. Participating downtown businesses will be handing out candy. Make sure to register in advance so you’ll receive the map with participating treat locations.
  • Dracula at the Jefferson Center - 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. - Roanoke Ballet Theatre's October favorite is hitting the stage for another year! Indulge in the arts with the classic ballet based on the story of Dracula by Bram Stoker.
